Roger Carlson

Roger Arthur Carlson, 86, of Harrodsburg, widower of Lavida Schneider Carlson, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, at the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center in Hazard.

Born Sept. 19, 1936, in Harvey, North Dakota, he was the son of the late Arthur H.  and Stella (Vorland) Carlson. 

He was a retired truck driver for Martin Feed, was US Marine Corp Veteran, member of the VFW and Eagles, and the Cornerstone Assembly of God.

Survivors include: two daughters, Bonnie Rule of Arizona and Gena Edwards of Texas; step children, Tom A., Bauder of Oregon, Paul E. and Desmond J. Bauder of Washington and Susan Bauder-Smith of Harrodsburg; one sister, Harriett Lowe of Washington; one brother, C. Allen Carlson of Washington; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren.
