Mattie B. Neal, 90, widow of George W. Neal, died Monday, July 4, 2022, at the Ephraim McDowell James B Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 19, 1932, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lula Hart. She was a homemaker and a member of the Benton Baptist Church. Survivors include: two sons, George W. (Beth) Neal II of Harrodsburg and James A. (Amy) Neal of Mercer County; three granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death one granddaughter, Amy Neal Tribble and three brothers, Garnet, Melvin and Cleo Hart.
