Drew Sloan Hardgrove, 74, of Harrodsburg, died Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born June 30, 1947, in Danville, he was the son of the late Charles Sloan and Helen M. (Pollard) Hardgrove. He was a graduate of Danville High School and received a master’s degree from the University of Kentucky, taught in the Danville Independent School District, worked for the US Peace Corps in Africa, was an employee for American Express, the Local Cable services, Merkle and Lifeline. Survivors include: two nieces, Kathryn H. (Brian) Dunn of Lancaster and Amanda H.( Wally) Cardwely; one nephew, William K. Hainsworth; special friend, Cynthia Carr of Harrodsburg and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Hainsworth.
