James Pinkston
James William “Jimmy” Pinkston, 80, of Harrodsburg, husband of Carol Sanford Pinkston died Friday, June 24, 2022, at the Baptist Health in Lexington. Born Feb. 5, 1942, he was the son of the late William Dennis and Geneva Gertrude Goodlett Pinkston. He was a self-employed auto body repair man and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: one son, James Michael “Jamie” Pinkston of Burgin; one daughter, Angela (Chris) Melrose of Lexington; one brother, Ricky Carroll (Jamie) Pinkston of Harrodsburg; one sister, Alma Sue Barnett of Springfield; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Glenn Dennis Pinkston.
