Almeda Devine
Almeda Devine, 77, widow of William B. Devine, died Monday, June 6, 2022, at her residence. Born Dec. 23, 1944, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Nellie Watts Wilson. She retired from Danville City Schools and attended Magnolia Street Christian Church. Survivors include: one son, Jackie (Linda) Pike of Junction City; three daughters, Rita (George) Devine of Harrodsburg, Teresa (Ken) Veltkamp of Liberty and Carol (Ralph) Maness of Harrodsburg; two step daughters, Sheila (Greg) Lunsford of Junction City and Garnetta Benge of Danville; eight grandchildren, seven great -grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Sue Pike and three step sons, Keith, Kevin and Kenny Devine.
