Jackie Wayne Major, 64, of Harrodsburg, husband of Penny Steele Major, died Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Baptist Health in Lexington. Born June 24, 1957, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Floretta (Savage) Major. He was a retired electrical maintenance employee for KY Utilities and was a member, deacon and audio visual technician of the Mt. Pleasant Church. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: two daughters, Cindy (Keith Scott) Bleier of Versailles and Becky (Derek) Baker of Harrodsburg; one sister, Renee (James) Reed of Harrodsburg and one brother, Tommy (Ima) Major of Ewing and three grandchildren.
