Ivan Phillips
Ivan Phillips, 78, widower of Jewel Ann White Phillips, of Burgin, died Friday, April 1, 2022, at his residence. Born Nov. 25, 1943, in Woodford County, he was the son of the late David William and Helen Mae Robinson Phillips. He was a retired Universal Fasteners employee and a member of the Shakertown Baptist Church. Survivors include: three daughters, JoAnn Phillips of Harrodsburg, Christy Jean (Patrick) Thurman of Belvidere, Tenn., and Rebecca Helen Brawner of Burgin; two brothers, David William (Rosie) Phillips Jr. of Burgin, and Clarence Lee Phillips of Harrodsburg; one sister, Shirely Wheeler of Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Donnie Keith Phillips; two daughters, Donna Kay Phillips and Mary Ann Phillips; two brothers, James William Phillips and Richard Lee Lane; one sister, Cathy Jean Worthington; and one grandson, James Barton Mitchell.
