John Elliott

John William “Bill” Elliott, 84, of Harrodsburg, widower of Joyce Elliott, died Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born May 17, 1937, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Lee and Ava (Bottoms) Elliott. He was a retired auto service department manager, having worked for Cusic Chevrolet and Jeff Jones Chevrolet, worked for Mark’s Meats, served in the Kentucky National Guard and was a member of the Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include: one son, Mark (Angie) Elliott of Harrodsburg; one sister, Patsy (Wilton Decuir) Elliott of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Lee and Coleman; and one sister, Lorraine.
