Timothy Dale “T-Bone” Bess, 62, of Danville, husband of Anne Crawford Bess, died Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born April 6, 1959, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Samuel Edward Thomas and Willie Frances (Young) Bess. He was a 1978 graduate of Harrodsburg High School and was a horse groomer-trainer for the Melinda and Tom Moore horse farms. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: two daughters, Leslie Simpson of Carrolton, Georgia, and Marlese (Christian) Holiday of Nicholasville; one son, Timothy Dale Bess Jr. of Danville; one brother, James Thomas Bess of Champaign, Illinois and 12 twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Edward Thomas “Butch” Bess, Jr. and one sister Irene VanDyke.
