Jimmie Dolores Farris, 89, of Harrodsburg, widow of Grover Cleveland Farris, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, at the Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, Texas. Born July 30, 1932, in Columbus, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Sidney J. and Mary Jane (Williams) Speight. She was a member of the Buena Vista Baptist Church in Lancaster. Survivors include: one daughter, Sherie Farris (Bryan Siddle) of Garland, Texas; one son Gary (Teri) Farris Sr. of Belle Chasse, Louisiana; one sister, Charlene Conacher of Leesville, Louisiana; one brother, Sidney Joe Speight of Many, Louisiana; one son-in-law, Vahid (Tracey) Javid of Lexington; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Javid and four sisters, Majorie Bailey, Rosemary Tohlen, Ramona Waller and Barbara Remedies.
