Donnie Gene Himes, 70, husband of Linda Himes, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, at his residence.

Born Dec. 9, 1950, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Elizabeth Himes.

He was a US Army veteran, having served in Vietnam, was retired from American Greetings and enjoyed fishing and metal detecting.
