William Lloyd “Bill” Poynter Jr., 52, died Thursday, July 8, 2021, in Danville.

Born Jan. 31, 1969, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of William Lloyd Poynter of Harrodsburg and the late Sharon Fredrick Poynter.

He was a self-employed maintenance man.
