There might not be dancing in the streets this week but there will certainly be music, sweet music, music everywhere. Whatever you like, from jazz to blues to rock to country, you’ll find it playing somewhere in Mercer County this week.

Rock Haven Cigar Tap Pour House on Office Street will host three musicians—Kayla Smith, Nicola Cassetta and Andy Palmer—as well as food, music and tastings On Saturday, June 26, starting at 2-11 p.m. (Tickets are $10). Local favorites Blue Groove Jazz will also host open mic nights at Rock Haven on Friday, June 25.

In addition, the Rocky Mountain Horse Association is holding a horse show at the Mercer County Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday and the Mercer County Public Library is hosting the Noah’s Ark Stuffed Animal Workshop on Thursday, July 1. Attendance at the workshop is limited to 30 and reservations open Wednesday, June 30. For more details, check the listings below. And don’t forget, Independence Day is just around the corner.
