Job Fair At Lions Park Community Center On June 9

A job fair will be held on Wednesday, June 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lions Park Community Center located at 450 East Factory Street in Harrodsburg.
“The Mercer Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host this job fair with Mercer businesses and industries,” said Jill Cutler, executive director. “Our hope is people will come out to see the opportunities available right here at home.”
Rolando Thacker, Business Services Manager with the Bluegrass Local Workforce Development Area said he is excited to offer this event to the community.
“The Kentucky Career Center – Bluegrass is excited to be a partner in the Mercer County Job Fair on June 9,” said Thacker. “This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for employment to learn about and connect with businesses in the area. It also provides the businesses an opportunity to see a job seeker beyond the resume. Our goal is to deliver success through facilitating that connection.”
The fair is open to anyone seeking employment.
