Martha Curtsinger

Martha “Marti” Curtsinger, 76, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021, in Lexington.

Born October 29, 1944, in Bessemer City, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late T. J. and Violet (Whitley) Curtsinger.

Marti was a retired senior pastor assistant at Centenary Methodist Church.

Survivors include: one daughter, Donna Chrisman (Robert) Ferry of Lawrenceburg;  two sisters, Lana (Greg) Kessinger of Lexington and Sherry (Dallas) Crawford of Glasgow; a special friend, Jim Hellard of Lexington; three grandchildren, Taylor (Simon) Ferry, Brittany (Matt) Newton and Drake (Brandi) Ferry, all of Lawrenceburg and four great- grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 31, at 2 p.m. at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with  Derek Morris officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Visitation was Monday from noon to 2 p.m. at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Pallbearers were Greg Kessinger, Drake Ferry, Matt Newton, Simon Yount, Tucker Billingsley and Brian Wiley.
