Jessica Coffey is the newly assigned business services consultant for Mercer County from the Kentucky Career Center’s Bluegrass Local Workforce Development Area.

“I work with businesses to help place workers. I work directly with the employers to know what jobs are available in our area and to help place them,” said Coffey. “Our biggest program at this time is our work based learning programs that most end up doing as paid internships.”

Coffey said Kentucky Career Centers has a lot to offer businesses, including paying the salary for an employee for up to 480 hours.
