Despite Effort, Ads Drop Game To LCA

Danville and Lexington Christian Academy (LCA) were on the field warming up Friday night to prepare for their game when nearby storms made their way to Admiral Stadium. And as those storms inched closer, flashes of lightning filled the sky, sending both teams to their locker rooms and both teams’ fans to their vehicles.
But as time passed, one thing became clear: it didn’t appear as if the storms—or lightning—were going away anytime soon. Both head coaches then met and decided it would be better if the game was postponed to Saturday. It was a fitting decision for the game that would follow—a game full of twists, turns and shifting momentum between Danville and LCA, the number one ranked team in class 2A.
