Ann Ballard

Ann N. “Sandy” Ballard, 82, of Harrodsburg, widow of Dr. Ralph T. Ballard, M.D. died Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Born Jan. 30, 1938, in Durham, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Huston and the late Grayce (Peele) Northcross.

She was a teacher for both the Harrodsburg and Mercer School Systems, was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church, the Harrodsburg Historical Society and served on the Mercer County School Board and Humane Society Board,  was a 4-H Leader and Girl Scout Leader and volunteered with Meals on Wheels.
