Titans split season series with Jags after loss

Errors cost Titans in big district matchup

After defeating East Jessamine (5-12) in convincing fashion one week prior to this game on Thursday, April 18, the Mercer County Titans (11-6) fell at the hands of the Jaguars at their field by a final score of 4-1.

Joshua Schubert earned the win for East, pitching a complete game, giving up one run on six hits, no walks and a game-high 10 strikeouts.

Senior Josh Barnett took the loss for Mercer County, pitching four innings, giving up four runs on four hits, one walk and eight strikeouts.
