One of the biggest  annual track and field meets in the state of Kentucky took place this past weekend.

Alvis Johnson’s Heart of the Bluegrass took placed on Saturday, April 20, despite cold and rainy conditions.

Over 30 teams were expected to participate, but due to weather, only 24 were present.

The Mercer County Lady Titans placed first overall with 154.50 points. Rockcastle County High School placed second with 92 points.

The Titans placed 14th among boys with 18 points. North Hardin took home the title with 117 points.
