After winning their first two out of three games, the Burgin Lady Bulldogs (2-7) have endured a six-game losing skid.
They were defeated by the Bardstown Lady Tigers by a final score of 23-4 in four innings of play.
Freshman Brittany Yates took the loss, pitching all four innings, giving up 23 runs on 18 hits, to go along with five strikeouts.
“I think the effort is there, we’re just not putting all the pieces together. We might make the play, but then we make a bad throw,” said Head Coach Taylor Bottoms.
