Barnett fans 14 in rout over East Jess

McGinnis and Tatum each hit first home run of season against Jags

After taking a crushing one-run loss to district rival West Jessamine last Tuesday, the Mercer County Titans (10-3) quickly regrouped and earned a convincing 11-3 victory over East Jessamine (2-11), another district rival on Thursday, April 11.

Senior Josh Barnett had a very strong start. He pitched a complete game, giving up three runs on four hits, to go along with a game-high 14 strikeouts.

Tyler Sutton took the loss for the Jaguars, pitching one and two-thirds innings, giving up four runs on three hits and struck out two.
