William Green

William Clay Green, 83, of Versailles, and formerly of Mercer County, husband of Gerry Fallis Green, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Baptist Healthcare in Lexington.

Born at Faywood, in Woodford County, he was a son of the late Edward Stanley and Margaret Bell Greenup Green.

He was a U. S. Navy veteran having served  from 1953 to his retirement in 1981. He was a maintenance engineer for the Marriott Hotel and Transylvania University and he was also a member of the Salvisa Christian Church.
