James Carey

James Hardin “Buffalo” Carey, 88, of Harrodsburg, husband of Imogene Peavler Carey, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center in Harrodsburg.

Born Sept. 29, 1929, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Everett and Gertie Mae Yates Carey.

He attended Mercer County Schools, was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War, worked on the railroad, was a brick mason and an antique dealer and was also a member of the Mercer Masonic Lodge # 777 F & AM.
