Guthrie Will Meet Constituents May 30

U.S. Rep. Brett Guthrie will hold “Conversations with Constituents” on Wednesday, May 30, at 9 a.m. at the Mercer County Extension Office (1007 Lexington Road).

Guthrie is meeting with constituents in each of the 21 counties in the Second Congressional District, including Mercer County.

Votes are not currently expected in the U.S. House of Representatives. If the schedule changes, Rep. Guthrie will have to return to Washington, D.C., and the event will be rescheduled.

According to a press release, the event will begin with a group discussion followed by individual meetings with constituents.

“In the coming weeks and months, I will visit every county in the Second District to hear directly from residents what they think about the many issues facing our nation,” said Guthrie in a prepared statement. “From tax reform to infrastructure to education, there is a lot to discuss this year.”
