ADRIAN THOMPSON

Paul “Adrian” Thompson, 68, of Harrodsburg, husband of Sandra Catlett Thompson, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at his home.

Born Aug. 7, 1948, in Washington County, he was the son of the late Ralph Cephas and Vivian Durr Thompson.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam war and was awarded a Purple Heart for injuries received during service, was a life member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars,  was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church where he served as trustee for many years and a member of the Pairs & Spares Sunday School Class.

Adrian worked several years for Square D and Kentucky Utilities but spent much of his career as an independent car dealer and owner and operator of a Carhartt retail outlet.
