Campbellsville University Hosts Community Day at Conover Education Center

Guests can access free amenities and services during Community Day at the Conover Education Center on April 29.

Campbellsville University, in coordination with the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce and Mercer County Adult Education, is hosting a Community Day at the Conover Education Center on Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“This is our way to give back to the community, it’s an effort to increase positive awareness across a myriad of areas throughout the community,” said Wes Carter,  regional director of development at Campbellsville University.

Guests can receive a free basic health screening and, while supplies last, a voucher for a free oil change. There are about 150 vouchers that have been donated by Thompson’s Service Center, Walmart and Valvoline. Carter said there would be preference given to single parents for the oil changes.
