Holy Week: World Series of religious holidays

“I’ve always described it as the World Series, the Super Bowl, the Daytona 500, the Indianapolis 500 all in one week. It’s our biggest week of the year.”

That’s how Shannon Blosser, pastor at Claylick United Methodist Church and vice president of the Mercer County Ministerial Association, describes Holy Week.

Blosser has helped to organized this year’s Holy Week activities which will be hosted at Harrodsburg Christian Church.

Blosser said worship services will begin everyday at 12 p.m., followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m. Similar to last year, each day will be represented by a different local church.
