Four Titans sign to continue athletic careers

Last Friday was a special day for four Mercer County Titans as they signed their letters of intent to continue their athletic careers on  the collegiate level. Assistant Athletic Director Charlie Cox kicked off the ceremonies held in the Mercer County High School auditorium by talking about the student-athletes and their academic and athletic accomplishments.He then passed the microphone on to the coaches who talked about their students before handing it over to the signees to  say a few words.

Brennan Walton (far right) signed with Lindsey Wilson College to continue his golf career.

Garrett Dean (far left) signed with Transylvania University to continue his soccer career.

Cody Shackleford (second from left) signed with Georgetown College to  continue his dream of playing collegiate soccer.

Lastly, Kailee Hensley (second from right) signed with Midway University to also continue her soccer career.
