Margaret Logue Sims, 90, widow of Marsdon Sims, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 6, 1926, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Reid and Vivian Dean Logue.
She was a member of the Grapevine Christian Church and had been an employee of Arnold’s Greenhouse and an Old Fort Harrod tour guide. She enjoyed reading.
Survivors include: two sons, Curtis Sims and his wife, Diane, and Kenny and his wife, Frankie Sims, all of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Rebecca Kinder and Wanda Kinder, both of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren, Karen Hedberg of Lexington, Darrin (Tamra) Sims and Hollie (Chris) Dean, all of Harrodsburg, and one great-grandson, Christian Blake Sims of Harrodsburg and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Logue, and sister, Virginia Schell.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Greg Warren officiating. Burial was in Grapevine Christian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Donnie Sims, Larry Sims, Tommy Logue, Charles Vincent Kinder, Roy Bugg and Reed Arnett.
