HOWARD ‘BUTCH’ SALLEE

Howard Thomas “Butch” Sallee Jr., 60, of Harrodsburg, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at his home.

Born Aug. 28, 1956, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of Howard Thomas “Poppa” Sallee Sr. and the late Joyce Ann Medley Sallee.

He was a former radio dispatcher for the City of Harrodsburg Police Department, EMS and Fire Department; was a certified nurse assistant at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, was the owner of the Broadway Market in Lawrenceburg and was a member of the Mt. Freeman Baptist Church in Junction City.
