JAMES CARMICKLE
James W. Carmickle, 76, of Harrodsburg, husband of Sandra Jean Murphy Carmickle, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at his home.
Born Nov. 8, 1940, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Bowen and Edna Darland Carmickle.
He was a retired auto body repairman at Stuart Powell Ford.

Great friend, I haven’t seen Jimmy for several years but feel a since of loss. He was as good of a man and friend as I new as a young man. He freely taught me everything I know about cars and how to buy and sell. I give him credit for my ability to become used car manager at several franchise dearlerships after my retirement from big business.
