BESSIE DARLAND

Bessie Mildred Hall Darland, 88, widow of William C. “Bill” Darland Sr., died Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at her home.

Born Feb. 22, 1928, in Jefferson County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Elmer and Zettie Pearl Ewing Hall.

She was a former cashier for Harlow Elementary, a former Corning employee, was a member and Sunday School teacher at The Carpenter’s Christian Church.
