MICHAEL DAVENPORT

Michael L. Davenport, 61, husband of Barbara Roark Davenport, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Born Sept. 17, 1955, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Robert P. and Mary Lena Satterly Davenport.

He worked in the engineering department at Lexington Centre Corporation, was head flyman at Lexington Opera House, served as a stagehand on many movie productions and was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.
