Christmas Lights Keeps Mercer Man a ‘Kidd’ at Heart

The Kidd Family said it takes about 12 hours and 10,000 lights to decorate their house for the holidays. The roof on their house, located on Perryville Road, features an American flag and a star.

Christmas lights and decorated houses are some of the simple pleasures of the holidays. Wreaths on doors and lights on porches are a common sight this time of year.

Dillon Kidd said he has always loved Christmas lights. “I loved them when I was kid. So I guess it’s the inner kid in me that keeps it going,” Kidd said.
