Local, State Road Crews Say They Are Ready For The Winter
State and local road crews have three words for Old Man Winter: “Bring it on.”
State crews are ready to keep Kentuckians moving this winter, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. KYTC claims to have nearly 2,000 professional “snowfighters” plus support staff across the commonwealth ready to handle snow and ice removal, including a new special teams strike force of eight plows stationed in Frankfort for deployment during major winter weather events such as the “Snowpocalypse” last March which dumped over a foot of snow and ice on Mercer County.
