When Johnnie Slone looks back at his career at Mercer County Schools and his life in Harrodsburg, the best way he can describe it is, “Blessed. I’ve been blessed more than I deserve.”

“It makes me happy to see people out here that I’ve known and they have succeeded. They might not be the doctor, might not be the lawyer, but they are successful at life,” he said.
