J.L. WALKER

J.L. Walker, 83, of Harrodsburg, husband of Vernetta Harley Walker, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born Aug. 14, 1933, in Garrard County, he was the son of the late J.T. and Geraldine Simpson Walker.

He was a retired employee of IBM, was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, where he had served as treasurer, Sunday school superintendent and sound operator and was an Army veteran of the Korean war.
