Lemons Mill Raises $2,500 For Markey Cancer Center

The Taps for TaTas event last Friday-Sunday at Lemons Mill Brewery was a great success according to part-owner LeMayne Ellis. The brewery raised $2,500 for The Markey Cancer Center from tips and T-shirt sales from Friday, Oct. 28, through Sunday, Oct. 30.
“I just want to thank everyone for coming out to support this cause. We all had a great time,” Ellis said. “Great food, great time, we’re really just thankful for everyone’s support.” Food was provided by Triple J&C BBQ Team, Ellis said he really appreciates their presence.
“Also a huge shout out to our sponsors for the shirts, it wouldn’t have happened without their help,” he said.
