Lemons Mill Brewery Helps Fight Breast Cancer

Lemons Mill Brewery will host “Taps for Ta Tas” Friday, Oct. 28 through Sunday, Oct. 30. All tips will go towards breast cancer research at Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Georgia Ellis—wife of LeMayne Ellis, a part-owner of Lemons Mill—first noticed a lump on her breast in 2011.

“I had never been sick, never had to take a pill, never been put to sleep. Nothing. It wasn’t in my family,” Ellis recalled. “I didn’t think I could have cancer.”
