It’ll be a little slice of Munich in downtown Harrodsburg this weekend.
The city will celebrate its first ever Oktoberfest (with beer) on Main Street starting Friday, Oct. 14, at 4:45 p.m. with beer, music art and food.
And beer. Father Al DeGiacomo of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church will bless the kegs to start Oktoberfest. There will be 13 beers on tap throughout the festival, which ends 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16.
Five Kentucky breweries will be served—Alltech/Kentucky Ale, Ethereal, Blue Stallion, Country Boy and Harrodsburg’s own Lemons Mill Brewery.
