Harrodsburg High School alumni who would like to host reunions at the old high school building can do so for free.

That’s the word from the building’s new owner, Keith Currens.

Currens took part in a town hall discussion hosted by Mercer Transformation in the old high school’s auditorium on Thursday. He has entered a partnership with the group, allowing them to use the school building to host their programs while they act as the agent for anyone who wishes to use the building.

Currens said he didn’t purchase the building as a retirement investment.

“What has been invested in this building stays in this building,” he said.
