Mercer woman dies in hit-and-run

One woman is dead and one man is in jail after a deadly hit-and-run crash Sunday morning.

Heather M. Lawrence, 38, died around 2 a.m. Sunday, April 3, after being struck by a vehicle while walking near the intersection of U.S. 127 and Highway 1160.
