After months of being closed to traffic, the Kennedy Mill Bridge is finally getting close to re-opening.
Intech Contracting LLC, who have been working on the bridge since Feb. 22, removed their equipment Friday, April 1.
The bridge will remain closed until a final inspection on Monday. If engineers from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways (KYTC) find the span is safe, it will be reopened for traffic.
