Commuters and businesses will have to wait at least one week longer before the Kennedy Mill Bridge re-opens.
That’s the latest announcement from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways (KYTC), who said repair work for the bridge, which carries Ky. Route 152 between Mercer and Garrard counties, will not be finished until Friday, April 8, one week longer than previously announced.
“The repairs are more extensive than what was originally expected,” said KYTC Public Information Officer Natasha F. Lacy.
