A four month investigation has led to the arrest of a Harrodsburg man. Officers from the Harrodsburg Police Department believe it might lead to something even bigger before the investigation is finished.
On Tuesday, March 29, police entered the East Broadway Street residence of Kevin D. Petty, 39, of Harrodsburg. Patrolman Ryan Evans, the lead investigator in the case, said they’d been after Petty for months, but had not been able to find legal cause to search his home.
“We were finally able to get into house on a parole/probation violation,” Evans said.
Petty was convicted of 1st degree trafficking of heroin in Fayette County in 2014.
