Meade County Wins Clash of the Titans Opener

The Meade County Green Wave downed the Bourbon County Colonels 69-57 in the opener of the Farmers National Bank Clash of the Titans opener Monday afternoon.

James Baker led the way for Meade County with 18 points.

Bourbon County led 30-29 at halftime, but the Green Wave used a 7-0 with the game tied at 41, to move out in front 48-41 late in the third quarter. Meade County led 53-44 after three quarters.

Ameryon Blackburn, of Bourbon County, led all scorers with 20 points, including 14 in the first half.
