JAMES YEAST

James “Bennie” Yeast, 98, of Harrodsburg, widower of Zelma Vaughn Yeast, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at the Harrodsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. 

Born Dec. 15, 1917, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Nelson and Ethel Mae Sanders Yeast.  

He was a veteran of the United States Army, was a retired truck driver and was a member of the St. Peter’s AME Church and the Silver Cord Masonic Lodge.
