JESSIE HAMMOND

Jessie Franklin Hammond, 83, husband of Artie Marie Clark Hammond, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016 at the Veterans Hospital in Lexington. 

Born Aug. 17, 1932 in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Corbin and Vada Branscum Hammond.  

He was a Korean War veteran, was the pastor for Rosedale Baptist Church in Richmond, Harris Creek Baptist Church in Stanford, Bryantsville Baptist Church in Bryantsville and South Main Mission in Monticello and was a member of the Monticello First Baptist Church.
