SALLY ANN PIERCE

Sally Ann Pierce, 93, widow of Hugh Noel Pierce, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center.

Born July 15, 1922, in Somerset, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Mabel Daulton Claunch.

She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, was a member of Gideon’s Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include: four sons, Hugh (Linda) Pierce Jr. of Columbus, NJ, Robert W. (Debrah) Pierce of Lawrenceburg, Roger D. (Christina) Pierce of Lexington and David B. (Anita) Pierce of Harrodsburg; one daughter, Linda C. (Mike) Inman of Salvisa; one brother, Richard Claunch of Nancy; three sisters, Barbara Hurst of Somerset, Betty Arnold of Louisville and Susan Wilson of Nancy; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, James M. Claunch, Billy Claunch and Henry F. Claunch, and one sister, Evelyn Poindexter.
